I entered an online competition by Rumah Kebaya Malaysia. Just for the fun of it, and going into the bandwagon of today's world wide web community. As far as online competitions go, this is my first one. Ever. And to anyone who ever read this boring blog, can you vote for me, pwetty pleaseeee???? I have my fingers crossed. =)
First of all, this check list is more like a personal reminder for me because I know if I write it here, I won't forget. I forget a lot of things, seriously. Just last night I found my hidden stash of money. I was hiding it from myself (what?) to pay my dentist, maybe 4-5 months ago, and I forgot. Last night I found it and I'm thrilled! Because now I have an extra RM300 to shop, and to pay my dentist next week! Hopeless, I know. Damn, I can't even memorize my parents' phone number. That's how bad I am at numbers.
Ok now, back to the check list.

Okay, when I lay all of it out like this, it's frightening how much needed to be done in a short time!!! *breath in, breath out* I have this (misleading) idea that towards the end of the year, my workload will miracously go off my shoulder because my students are having their final exams. No p&p. I couldn't have been more wrong. Now I get 1 more class added to my timetable, and it's a F5 class. The teacher of that class never taught them anything and only give notes/sample essays every time he enters the class. They even told me, "Teacher, subjek English, kami tak belajar apa-apa lagi tahun ni. Takut fail, teacher." And now he has chicken pox so the kids just sit and chat during 5 periods of English throughout the week. They asked for my help and I agreed to enter their class during English periods. Kesian. Dah la kelas belakang. At least they have the 'kesedaran' to pass English kan. To top that busy schedule, I also have extra classes with them every Friday. And also, I have to invigilate for SPM, help mom with her assignments, babysit when mom goes off to study. In the middle of all that, I am going to get engaged. Betul ka ni???!!
p/s: Somehow, my priority atm is work. Not my private life. Zombee said I'm turning into a good teacher. But, I don't want to.
It's been a while back since I last felt this sort of happiness. You are the sole reason why. Thank you for always being here for me, even when I make it difficult for you to tolerate me. Alhamdulillah, in our relationship, we rarely fight. Maybe it's a sign that we are compatible. Maybe its a sign that we are both two adults who know how to handle problems the best way. But when we do fight (dear God this will sound weird) I feel thankful too. Because that makes us humans, that shows that we are normal, just like other couples.
I'm way far ahead of myself here. But it's nice looking around the internet to browse through wedding pictures, isn't it? Okay don't answer that. Now lets have a look...
Stolen moments kind of photograph. It looks really amazing as portraits pictures. I love the idea of the bride and groom is sort of an 'excessories' to the photo. No faces, just figures. But it doesn't mean that they are not the main focus of the picture though. There is balance between the married couple and the beautiful surroundings. Amazing.
Classic black and white. As the name suggest, classy. I figured even a baby can edit pictures to black and white. But the moments captured in the photos need to be special, extraordinary. The angle. The size. The proportion. Only then the photos will look stunning in black and white. And again, you don't have to get the shots of the faces of the couple to get a great photo. Like in the first black and white picture. Just hands is necessary.
'Softened' black and white photos with the hint of colours. Zombee used to edit pictures like these and send them to me. It's just classically elegant. Seems like old pictures. Gives you the idea of memories. Good memories. Mesmerizingly one of a kind.
Polaroid-ish. Simple and stunning. Very similar to the black and white photos but this one has a more unorthodox feeling to it. Seems 'informal' but in a good way of course. Again, the moment, angle, size, everything needs to be taken into special consideration.
Photos with edited colour temperature, tint and saturation. Easy editing. But I love how this photo put some emphasis on the yellow trees. And the playful sunlight just add extra touch to the already beautiful natural background. Very artistic. Nature is incredible isn't it?
My favourite. A very simple picture, yet the beauty is there. Kudos for emphasizing the background. At night! Little editing was done. But night time wedding pictures? You don't see that too often, do you? Natural looking and very sophisticated. And you don't sweat as mush as the afternoon weather too. But your OP needs to be a genius playing with lights.
P/S: Notice how I like pictures that DO NOT emphasize on the faces of the bride and groom?
